Conflicts at Work
Understanding and Constructively Using Workplace Conflicts as Opportunities
Conflicts at work cost time, money, and energy – so they should be avoided?
A conflict is always also an offer to communicate and assumes shared interests. Entering into conflict requires energy. That may be irritating and exhausting, but it also provides a chance to work constructively and productively. The real challenge arises when people withdraw, go silent, act without speaking – or stop both. And: it’s not the conflict that brings up the issue – the issue exists with or without conflict. Conflict can contribute to greater clarity.
Even when people are talking, it’s worth understanding what’s actually going on. The sender of a message should communicate carefully – but ultimately, it’s the receiver who determines its meaning.
Two Formats to Strengthen Everyday Work Life
What are workplace conflicts, what functions can they serve, and how can their energy be constructively used? We explore these and other questions in the online 2-day seminar and interactive workshop “Understanding and Using Workplace Conflicts as Opportunities”.
The format includes a mixture of theory, group work, and reflection – and it is fully interactive. Participants can work on real cases from their own professional context if they wish.
To support transfer into everyday work life, participants receive the materials as a PDF and are invited to a follow-up group reflection four weeks later.
When: September 17 and 18, 2025
Follow-up reflection: October 16, 2025, 4:00 to 6:00 PM
Where: Online and interactive
Cost: 916 € (Early bird 782 €) plus VAT
Language: German (also available in English or Portuguese, see below)
Optional Module: Resilience and Acute Stress Management
A component of the workshop also includes dealing with confrontations, attacks, and everyday stressors. This module can also be booked as a 2-hour intensive reflection session. It’s not about deepening theory but about offering practical, actionable impulses for everyday work – especially helpful in high-pressure situations where a change in perspective can make a difference.
When: July 17, 2025, 3:00 to 5:00 PM
Where: Online and interactive
Cost: 202 euros (Early bird 177 euros) plus VAT
Language: German (also possible in English or Portuguese, see below)
