On April 24, 2024, Telekom will once again host the Agilista Barcamp, an Open Space organized by Telekom and open to everyone. I\u2019ll be presenting a session on \u201cDecision-Making,\u201d covering the fundamentals and frameworks for effective decisions in both hierarchical and self-organized environments. Well-organized conditions enable efficient decision-making and are a powerful lever for significantly enhancing an organization\u2019s ability to take action.<\/p>\n
A shared understanding of processes and conditions is a key part of confidently making good decisions in daily life. We\u2019ll look behind the scenes of everyday decision-making\u2014what and when to decide together or alone, and why it\u2019s not always about weighing options. Often, it’s about navigating irresolvable paradoxes. Simply being aware of this makes a noticeable difference in day-to-day situations.<\/p>\n
Toward the end of the session, we\u2019ll make a sample decision together using the systemic consensus method. This approach focuses on gauging resistance rather than agreement. In theory, this enhances mutual awareness within the team and improves the team\u2019s perception of the decision at hand.<\/p>\n
The hands-on exercise at the end of the workshop provides far more insight than a theoretical explanation alone. Through direct experience and shared reflection, the immediate benefits for daily work become clear.<\/p>\n
